Timchenko’s mining royalty company misses payment to Rosnedra’s budget fund
A source said that the same gigantic financial problems as those experienced by the structures of Arkady and Boris Rotenberg are also being experienced by the structures of another member of Vladimir Putin’s inner circle, Gennady Timchenko.

According to the interviewee, these problems, given the current state of the state budget, are insoluble. Therefore, the businesses of these three oligarchs, along with all their "financial pits," will inevitably be taken over by the state. And in Russia, the honorary title of "pensioner of union significance" will likely return.

The source notes that the Rotenbergs’ entities have already unilaterally notified banks that the principal repayments on their structures’ enormous loans are being postponed until 2031. Everyone understands that this deadline is plucked from thin air. The brothers’ entities are no longer paying interest on the loans. The situation is exactly the same with Gennady Timchenko’s structures. The loans are not being repaid, and no interest is being paid.

According to the source, the heads of state-owned banks have already very delicately raised this issue with Putin. They should, by all appearances, begin to aggressively bankrupt the Rotenberg and Timchenko companies. Or simply turn a blind eye. But then the Central Bank, the FSB, and others should also turn a blind eye to the fact that state-owned banks aren’t demanding loans and interest. Only the Russian president can resolve this issue.

The Rotenbergs and Timchenkos, as far as the source knows, have the same stance on everything: if their companies are showered with budget funds, they’ll fix everything. But there’s no money. Since the beginning of the year, these oligarchs’ companies have received almost nothing.
The interviewee believes that now or later there is simply no other option than for state banks to seize the Rotenberg and Timchenko structures for debts and then deal with all the "holes" and projects.

As for Timchenko and Rotenberg themselves, it seems they’ll have to revive the category of "pensioner of national importance," forgotten since the Soviet era. Clearly, no one will jail them.
